Greebrier Companies reported pre-market Thursday mixed fiscal Q3 results and issued in line guidance for FY17 earnings and revenues. For Q3 ended May 31, EPS was $1.03 per share, down from $1.12 per share but above the $0.81 per share consensus of analysts polled by Capital IQ. Revenues fell to $439.2 million from $612.9 million and were below the $516.2 million average estimate.
For FY17, Greenbrier expects EPS of $3.45 to $3.65 per share on revenues of $2.1 billion to $2.3 billion. Analysts are expecting EPS of $3.48 per share on revenues of $2.16 billion. The supplier of railroad freight cars also said it will distribute an unchanged quarterly dividend of $0.22 per share, payable on Aug. 8 to holders of record on July 18.
