Public Service Enterprise Q2 EPS Beats as Sales Miss Views

Public Service Enterprise Group reported early Friday Q2 adjusted earnings of $0.62 per diluted share compared with an income of $0.57 per share a year ago, beating the $0.58 average EPS estimate from analysts polled by Capital IQ.

Operating revenues rose to $2.13 billion from $1.91 billion a year ago, still coming in below the $2.34 billion consensus. Reaffirming its full-year 2017 guidance, the company said adjusted operating earnings will remain between $2.80 and $3.00, straddling the Street’s forecast of $2.91.
